Mississippi's warm, humid climate makes it cockroach paradise. From German roaches in kitchens to smoky brown roaches invading from outdoors, we eliminate infestations at the source using professional-grade baits and treatments.
Call (662) 238-9188Lee County's climate supports multiple cockroach species year-round. High humidity keeps roaches hydrated, while mild winters allow outdoor species to survive and invade homes. German cockroaches โ the small ones that infest kitchens โ breed continuously indoors regardless of season.
Small (1/2 inch), light brown roaches with two dark stripes behind the head. The #1 indoor roach pest in Tupelo kitchens and restaurants. A single female can produce 400+ offspring in her lifetime. They hide in cracks, behind appliances, and under sinks.
Our treatment: Gel baits, growth regulators, and crack/crevice treatment. Follow-ups are essential โ German roaches require persistent effort to eliminate completely.
Large (1.5-2 inches), reddish-brown "waterbugs" or "palmetto bugs." Common in Tupelo basements, crawl spaces, and sewer systems. They often enter through drains or gaps around pipes. Seeing one doesn't necessarily mean an infestation โ but it does mean entry points exist.
Our treatment: Perimeter treatment, drain treatment, and sealing entry points around pipes and foundation gaps.
Large, uniformly dark brown roaches common in wooded areas around Tupelo. They live in trees, mulch beds, and leaf litter, then fly toward porch lights and enter through gaps around doors and windows. Very common in homes near the Tombigbee watershed.
Our treatment: Exterior perimeter treatment, reducing harborage (leaf litter, mulch), and sealing entry points.
Dark, shiny roaches about 1 inch long. They prefer cool, damp areas โ basements, crawl spaces, and storm drains. Less common than other species in Tupelo but present in older homes with moisture issues.
Our treatment: Address moisture issues, treat crawl space and basement, create barrier around foundation.
Identification first: German roaches require different treatment than outdoor species. We identify what you're dealing with and apply the appropriate strategy.
For German cockroaches: Gel baits strategically placed in cracks, crevices, and harborage areas. Roaches eat the bait, return to hiding spots, and spread the toxicant to others. Follow-up treatments (typically 2-4 weeks apart) target new generations before they reproduce.
For outdoor/large roaches: Perimeter treatment creates a barrier around your Tupelo home. We treat exterior walls, doorways, windows, and pipe penetrations. Indoor treatment addresses any roaches already inside.
Prevention: We advise on sanitation, storage, and exclusion. Roaches need food, water, and harborage โ reduce these and you reduce roach pressure even in Mississippi's humid climate.

You don't have to live with cockroaches. Professional treatment eliminates the problem โ and keeps it from coming back.
